Timeline
If we had to choose one word that best defines Clí­nica São Vicente in these 75 years of existence, we would be facing a great challenge: would it simply be "INNOVATIVE"? Or could it also be known as a place that "WELCOMES" people? Understand our history and you will know why. Clí­nica São Vicente was born at a time in which medicine was still a craftsmanship. In that year, Fleming was healing a patient, Keith Rogers, using a novelty - penicillin.



Surgical Center
Clínica São Vicente Surgical Centre conducts all types of interventions, from the most complex made by some of the greatest surgeons in Brazil. More than 40 professionals including nurses, technical and administrative staff and the hotel staff take rounds 24 hours per day in the Surgical Centre.



Aid for foreigners
The world is our nation. And one of its beauties is the cultural diversity not only regarding life, but also art and languages. We are honored when foreigners come to us. That is the reason we also go abroad beforehand. We slowly become language proficient (today there are more than 50 bilingual employees and some of them speak three languages), as well as becoming aware of cultures and locations in other countries...


Hospitalization
Largest sector at Clínica São Vicente, roughly 90% of all patients go through the Admissions Unit. The unit has 57 beds available among, rooms, suites, Cellular Therapy and Burned Unit. The rooms are distributed through three stories and equipped with Oxygen net and emergency material – one crash cart and one defibrillator per story.

Education and Research

Established in 1972, the Genival Londres Study and Research Centre (Cegel) is a public utility institution recognized as such by the Federal Government (Ministry of Justice) since 1987. It was created as a product of the conviction that teaching and research are the ideal trigger to leverage the practice of medicine. It is through Cegel that Clí­nica São Vicente cultivates what is considered most important: Human thought.
